Gutsy Girl Travel
Travel – This word means different things to different people. For some daring individuals, travelling is all about new enthralling and exhilarating experiences. While for some people travelling is seeking peace and comfort. The definitions might vary for everyone, but in the end, it all comes down to feelings. Travelling is in itself an expression waiting to be felt.Travelling has no boundaries. You can go along with your group or you can prefer to go on a solo backpacking trip. You can choose to scale the Himalayas or go on a peaceful boat ride in Kerala.
In this era where people are scared of eating dinner alone or watching a movie alone, because they are scared of being judged for looking like a loner, there are a few people who decide to break all boundaries and just go for it.
But, if you are a girl and decide to travel solo, you will probably face a million questions like, “Who are you going with?” “Is it safe” “Aren’t you scared?” and so on. It is 2017, but still people will question and doubt your decision of travelling alone. But take the plunge and stop fretting about what will happen. Once you land wherever you will decide to go, the confidence you gain will wash away all your fears and concerns.
You may ask, why solo backpacking?
First of all, solo backpacking doesn’t mean that you will be alone. In fact, it is exactly the opposite of that. You will meet many new faces along your way and you will be able to indulge in new relationships.
There might be something in your life you want to get out of and travelling is the best way to do so. Just pick yourself off and go out. Sit on the beach, sipping on juices. Or soak yourself up in the amazing sights and smells which cover you. You will soon start appreciating tiny things about life and enjoy the journey you are on.
And of course, the most amazing thing which will happen to you is that- you will be independent. You won’t need to answer anyone. If you feel like going out to the beach, you can. Bored of the museum? Get out. Want to relax? Head to the spa. Infinite choices are places on your feet.
