Traveling as a Couple: An Interview with the Love-birds
Few days back, a cute couple was found holidaying at one of the Vedanta Wake Up! hotels in Kerala. They had come all the way from Europe to spend some time here in India. This was their first trip to India, and they seemed to be enjoying it to the fullest. This couple was one of the most decent pairs, and they had a special charm which attracted the crowd towards them. After keen observation, we noticed that both of them were really enjoying their trip in South India. And, then we approached to interview them, as we were really curious to know their whole experience. Listed below are some of the questions-
1. (The very obvious one) How did you decide to come to South India?
They told us that they had a group of travel buddies who keep roaming around the world. This travel group of theirs informed them about India, and told them about some of the most sought-after destinations in South India. They were being told that South India is one of the most serene spots of India. Then, they did their research and the Alleppey backwaters, beaches in Cochin, temples in Tamil Nadu etc. lured them to be here in India.
2. Are both of you Travel-buffs?
We were keen to know whether both of them have the traveling-bug in them or it is just that one enjoys traveling so the other has to bear it. We are amazed to know that both of them were avid travelers, and in fact their love story started when they met while exploring a popular tourist spot. Both of them really want to explore the world.
3. What are the challenges that come across while traveling together?
As per them, the fact that they both like wandering around makes it easier for them to plan a trip. However, as they are also humans, hence, their wishes and choices also differ at times. So, they try to incorporate all their wishes in a travel plan, and they strategize and make sure that both of them stay happy while traveling.
4. How often do they travel?
As they both like to travel a lot, hence, they mostly try to arrange a trip every 6 months. They both save money for their trips, and mutually decide on the places that they wish to explore. However, weekend getaways keep running on the background.
5. What did they like the most about South India?
They seemed very happy while answering this question. They found South India extremely calm and peaceful. They loved the hospitality as well. Both of them are foodies as well, and they excitedly tried the South Indian fares as well, and interestingly, they just loved every bit of them.
